So I've decided to start a blog with a few friends. For those who don't know me, my name is Paul Burke. My curiosity and love for electronics and technology has led me to this point. I have no formal training or education outside of personal research and experience, and I hope all of my posts are read accordingly. My intention is to share some personal and referred insight into modern technology and cultural interests alike.
At Demyst.us our goal is to centralize contemporary interests. Amongst other things, we will attempt to make technology more approachable, and unify established solutions to common questions and desires. Our goal is not to teach or reinvent, but rather to offer insight, suggestion, and tips that may improve user experience with a broad array of life's interests.
While I intend on posting about many topics, some of Dmyst.us's correspondents may focus on one or few topics/interests. Some of my passions are music/music business, technology, philosophy/religion, and many of my posts will probably reflect these interests. However, I love researching questions, solving problems, and helping people, so my daily interests vary greatly.
I strongly encourage comments and queries, as they will help us to be comprehensive, and user-appropriate. Feel free to post questions in appropriate comment areas, or by sending an email to Info@Demyst.us
For example, one may write:
"I have a Canon SD450 and a MacBook Pro, how can I import individual photos, and rename them all at once?"
or
"I really like the latest Arcade Fire album, Funeral. Where can I find more music like it?"
Also, feel free to offer recomendations to the site that you feel would serve to better your experience.
Help us make Demyst.us a comprehensive supplement to contemporary digital life.
